modular specifications
Our additions feature the latest design methods and are constructed indoors in a controlled environment. They also must pass an extensive inspection process, much more rigorous than homes built on-site. Here are the specifications you can expect to find in our modular additions:

- 2”x6” exterior wall framing
- 2”x4” interior wall framing
- 2”x8” to 2”x12” roof rafters as specified
- 2”x6” to 2”x10” ceiling joists as specified
- ¾” sub floor screwed and glued
- 5/8” plywood on roof framing
- ½” drywall on walls, 5/8” on ceilings glued and screwed
- ½” OSB exterior wall sheathing glued and screwed
- R-19 insulation in walls, R-30 in ceilings
- All units include stainmaster carpeting
- All units spackled, taped and primed
- Choice of door units and trim
- Windows, Anderson or vinyl
- Choice of hot air or hot water baseboard installed
- All electrical and plumbing installed according to state and local codes
- Complete custom bathrooms and kitchens
