 Frequently Asked Questions Q: Where can I get one of these homes? A: This revolutionary and exciting series is currently available in every state in the U.S. except for Hawaii. Q: Can I put one of these homes on my land? A: The Cozy Cottages™ are built to meet or exceed the specifications of your local building codes. Therefore there should not be any restrictions on their placement like HUD code homes that have to be placed in designated areas. However, check with your local municipality to make sure that there are no minimum size, multiple use, or other restrictions that would prohibit you from putting one of these homes on your land. Q: How much do these homes cost? A: The Cozy Cottage series homes are the most economical quality built structure you can buy. They will cost more than HUD Code [trailer homes] but less than any other choice. Unfortunately it is impossible to give specifics since prices will vary in each geographical area and site costs will vary from plot to plot. Q: How do I determine the cost? A: Once you fill out the inquiry form an authorized dealer in your area will contact you in the manner that you request on your form. [e-mail/phone/appointment at their office.] Once they understand your specific situation they will be able to give you a ballpark price on your project. Q: How much finish work is required to finish a Cozy Cottage modular home? A: The home will be totally complete from the factory. The only things that need to be done are pouring the foundation, attaching the home to the foundation, hooking up the utilities, and landscaping. Q: Can I buy a Cozy Cottage turn-key? A: Yes you can in many areas of the country. Please let us know when you fill out our contact form that you would like to buy the home turn-key. Q: What if I want to act as the general contractor? A: This is possible whether we have an affiliated builder in your locality or not. Our wholesale program can be administered anywhere in the world either locally or from our home office. Along with your nearly complete home, you will receive an explicit construction manual to help guide you to a successful completion. Q: Can I make changes to the standard floor plans/elevations? A: These floor plans and exteriors of these homes can be customized to the particular customer on request. We encourage you to get exactly what you want. Q: Can I put one of these homes on a foundation? A: You have a choice of either a crawl space or a full basement. Q: Is it difficult to finance or insure these homes? A: Unlike HUD Code homes, the Cozy Cottages™ can be purchased using a traditional construction-permanent loan as long as you qualify as a credit-worthy borrower. Q: I want to do a large project. Do you give volume discounts? A: We have gotten a significant demand from motel owners, religious institutions that want to build retreat cabins, intentional villages, and the like. Because we sell the Cozy Cottages™ at extremely low prices we can't offer any discounts for volume purchases or any other reasons. However multi-unit purchasers will find there is no need to hunt for a better bargain because you won't find one.
