With the growing cost of standard homes, many people are turning to modular homes as a less expensive alternative. Not only are they often bigger for less money, but modular homes allow you more selection in the customization of your home. After all, if you find your dream home, and it doesn't have a basement, there is nothing you can do unless you are building it yourself.
Since quality modular homes are constructed only upon a customer's order, there are many things a builder can do before the customer moves into the home. Of course, you have to pay for the extra features, but when you compare the cost of modular homes to that of pre-constructed homes, there is a great difference.
